Set #76304 “Batman Forever Batmobile” was released August 2025. It’s a great set, but at the wrong scale!
The Legacy
of the Dark Knight version takes a lot of the same build techniques, but
shrinks it down to be inline with all the other vehicles in the game.
It’s
shorter and narrower than the official set, but interestingly shares the same
printed hood element (which is the most expensive part of recreating this).
Decals
Just 2
decals are required on this build, both completely custom.
The wheel
hubs use a 2x2 round tile with the bat logo. This is basically a copy of the printing
found on the official set, but unfortunately the official set has them printed
on inverted dishes, so can’t be used here.
The second
is on the main canopy. It uses part 3384 (or 5378) and has this custom printing
to replicate the print on the official set.
So can I build it?
For the
most part this build is totally possible. There are just a couple of pieces
that aren’t available in trans light blue.
The
connection between the cockpit and main chassis uses 2 modified plates.
They’re
buried underneath some other parts, so can be swapped for bright light blue
with little impact.
Towards the
front of the cockpit section, there’s a 1x1 bracket, also in trans light blue.
Again, this
is buried under other pieces and not highly visible on the final build, so can
be swapped out for black or medium blue, or even dark turquoise, without having
much impact on the final aesthetic.
All in all, this is a really fun build. The side ribs have a tendancy to want to pop off, so probably not suitable for zooming it around, but an epic display piece!
