The Batman (2022) Legacy of the Dark Knight

Having just released set 76332 (new 2022) , and previously releasing 76181 (old 2022) you’d think this one was in the bag, but Tt have made some modifications and seem to have mashed the 2 together.

- The front end is very similar to new 2022 , but is shorter towards the very front

- Tires differ from the released sets, instead Tt opted to use 72206pb01 which is seen a lot in speed champions sets.

- The back end takes more from the old 2022, but is still largely rebuilt other than the engine.

Decals
Most of the decals on the in game model are ripped straight from the 76332 sticker sheet.

The bonnet decals, wheel hubs and interior computer all use these decals.

On the backend
an existing decal 1x1 round tile (a pretty common piece to source)

And the 2x2 inverted radar with printing from the old 2022 set.

The only missing decal/printed element is the windscreen.
It appears to have a frame printed on the corners (in lieu of brick built pillars)

Windscreen 3 x 6 x 2 (as far as I know) has never been produced with any sort of printing to match this, however it wouldn’t be a very big job to make a custom cut black decal.

SO CAN I BUILD IT?
Tt shaders are slightly ambiguous, there’s a lot of metallic looking elements which don’t totally match real world chrome/metallic silver LEGO, but also don’t totally match flat silver.
HOWEVER. Since this engine section (where all these ambiguous pieces live) is a direct match for the old 2022 model, and that uses “flat Silver” on all these parts, we’re going to go ahead and call these metal pieces flat silver (which also makes part sourcing a lot easier as metallics are pretty much out of LEGOs palette now)

With that in mind, there are only two pieces blocking this from being 100% accurate.

These small exhausts. Use part #30304
At this time, they are unavailable in light bluish gray, so need to be substituted with Dark bluish gray.
And the steering column:
Part #3829 is not available in dark bluish gray, so is substituted with Light bluish gray.
Other than that, all other pieces are available in their correct colors.

Although it does carry a lot of similarities with the official sets (the new version being closest) an accurate recreation requires almost entirely different pieces. The official set only holds about 25% of the parts needed, BUT, it might be worth picking up just for the sticker sheet.

Stability
Overall, the build is very solid. The wand pieces on the back don't have a particularly strong connection.
Great as a display piece, but any play will likely result in some parts popping.
